Forum Currency

I read some interesting articles about forum currencies, and I would like to hear your opinion about the coins system. Is it useful?
I think that forum currency motivates all the members to post more in order to win more services. It's very good, especially if you have a small community.

I would agree. I think having some kind of forum currency can help generate activity on your forum. I've also opened up a shop where members can spend their 'forum currency' on different things and your shop can be tailored to your forum. To me, it just seems like an easy way to interest people in posting more around the forum.
